It was a good stay! The room was impeccably clean and had a fantastic view of the lagoon. The owner went above and beyond, treating us to a lovely surprise for our anniversary. Enjoyed the daily breakfast tray with fresh orange juice, toast, and cereal. Super comfortable bed too!

lack of reception

no elevator

A fantastic location, walking distance to attractions.

Unfortunately, my stay was marred by several challenges. The lack of reception staff was frustrating, as I had to pick up my keys from an envelope left outside. Carrying my luggage up multiple flights of stairs was arduous, especially without any assistance. Additionally, the absence of basic amenities like breakfast felt more like a rental apartment than a hotel experience.

It was just a good pick for a lightning stop in Venice with good price-value balance. The room was cozy and the shower had great water pressure. Make sure to check if there’s breakfast in the fridge!

I stayed for 3 nights in a Double or Twin Room and it was great! The bed was super comfy and the shower was perfect. The room was cleaned daily, and I loved the snacks in the minibar since they were included. There was even a kettle and iron that came in handy. Gian Paolo was really helpful, too. It's such a cozy little place!

our honeymoon stay at porta da mar was fantastic! the location was perfect, just a short walk to popular sites. the room was spacious and spotlessly clean with comfy pillows, definitely exceeded our previous stays in the city.

great stay with a few minor hitches

I enjoyed the top location, just a few steps from local bars and cafés. The room was spacious, very clean, and the pillows were incredibly comfy! I appreciated the daily replacement of bath towels and the attentive room service staff. The lovely city view added a beautiful touch to my stay.
